Superintendent: baseball and softball complex near completion; contractors, donors involved

"They are currently framing the roofing on the softball dugouts... When we're done, that's already lined up... so they'll all be painted and everything will be blended in and matching," the superintendent said, noting donated concrete blocks from Triton will be painted to create a uniform appearance. She warned that recent rain, snow and freezes have delayed turf rooting and the district now expects the fields to be ready later than an early-April target.
