The Swanton Local School District treasurer reported a healthier-than-expected cash balance for February and asked the board to approve several appropriations and accepted donations.
"We did receive $20,000 from the athletic boosters for some of the equipment that we needed for the baseball softball complex," Treasurer Sheila Horstman said, and asked board approval for the listed items. Horstman also noted district revenues are currently higher than expenditures and that the cash balance is better than projected for the month.
The board moved to approve consent items related to the financial report (items 3A–3D) and carried the motion by voice vote. The treasurer also reviewed additional K–12 revenue increases and routine appropriations tied to musical and other program needs.
