Unresolved questions after meeting about Flock contract language, access and oversight

Residents repeatedly asked for a copy of the contract amendment they said removed earlier "no sale" language and for clarification whether Flock or any third party could access township cameras for demonstrations. Council members and the director said the township amended its contract to clarify that the township owns the data and that vendor access without permission would show up in an immutable audit record, but several residents pressed for the written contract text before accepting that explanation.
Other outstanding items the council agreed to return to in future meetings included aggregated metrics (number of alerts, confirmed hits, false positives), the exact scope of external audits, and whether the township will adopt an independent civilian audit process. "We audit quarterly and we audit monthly," the director said; residents asked that some audits be external and publicly released.
