Town approves routine items; treasurer reports flu clinic, festival vendors and cybersecurity notice

In the treasurer's report officials said a flu shot clinic is scheduled for Oct. 11, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; the Halloween Fall Festival has 23 confirmed vendors and donations totaling $2,250, and WV Outdoor is donating the cost of on-town billboard advertising. The treasurer also noted two Homeland Security grant applications are in process and that the WV Public Service Commission has notified the town it will require a cybersecurity evaluation for water, sewage and billing systems.
