North Henderson trustees postpone Oct. 9 meeting for lack of quorum; treasurer authorized to pay bills

Acting President Karin Simkins called off the Village of North Henderson trustee meeting scheduled for Oct. 9, 2025, after announcing, “we do not have a quorum so the meeting will need to be rescheduled,” she said. Simkins set the make-up meeting for Oct. 23, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Floral Hall.
To prevent late payments while the board could not act formally, Simkins allowed Treasurer Gary Whitcomb to pay the village’s bills. The clerk’s roll call listed Trustees Angie Chandlee and Tim Stage as present; Trustees Diane Brown, Christian Spahr and Cheryl Stevens were absent. The meeting formally adjourned at 6:46 p.m.
