At its May 1 meeting the Rock Creek City Council accepted Central Minnesota’s cost estimate to apply chloride to Nature North and Rolling Meadows Circle using an 18-inch wide spread. The motion passed with all ayes.
Separately, the council approved replacing the city's dry hydrant with an estimated cost up to $4,000 and approved a Resolution of Intent related to a Fire Substation; both actions were moved and seconded during the Safety Committee and recorded as carried with all ayes. The resolution records council direction to proceed with the resolution process; the minutes do not record a budget authorization for construction.
