During public comment, residents raised two recurring concerns: small solar street lights recently installed along Rolling Meadows and a proposed data center on Hudson Road. President Rick said the village had been alerted by a locate request and staff discovered seven to eight posts with small solar LED lights; the village will complete a GPS right-of-way survey before directing the developer or property manager on next steps.
On the proposed data center, a resident asked whether the project had been approved. President Rick responded, "The last I have from Rockford is it has not been approved. They do not have drawings yet," and said the village has not taken a formal stance until more information is available. Residents also raised routine neighborhood concerns (weeds, coyote sightings, pavement conditions) and were encouraged to contact staff and the planning & zoning commission regarding participation in local boards.
