Parks project wraps up; seasonal worker Jackson moved to full-time public works role

Parks supervisor Brody reported the year-long parks project is largely complete: contractors are finishing touch-ups, epoxy floors are done and the small restroom has reopened. "Park's looking good...people seem to love the new additions," Brody said during the update.
Public works said the department hired a new full-time employee, Jackson, who had worked as a seasonal employee last year and replaced the prior full-time employee, Jeff, who left the village. "We brought, Jackson. It was our seasonal the last, what, year on Friday," the public works speaker said. Trustees had no extended debate and accepted the reports as provided.
