Trustee John moved and Trustee Chris seconded Resolution 26-40 to authorize a commercial lighting agreement for a gateway commercial building product. Trustees asked whether the village would pay the electricity costs and discussed the term; the board cited a monthly figure of $386.80 during debate.
President Rick called for a roll call and the resolution passed with the trustees present voting in favor. Trustees said the lights are important for the planned development and that quotes and contract terms should be tracked by staff.
Staff recorded the agreement and will include the executed documents in the project file; any ongoing utility costs will be tracked against the property or the village depending on the final contract language.
