Board awards propane and waste contracts, accepts activity fund report and approves interdistrict health services

The Board of Education approved several operational and procurement items as part of the consent agenda. The 2025-01 propane bid was awarded to Nolan Bottle Gas Co., Inc. at a fixed rate of $1.22 per gallon for the 2025–2026 heating season. The 2025-02 waste and recycling contract was awarded to County Waste & Recycling for $44,445 for the 2025–2026 school year.
The board also accepted the High School and Middle School Extraclass Activity Fund report showing an account balance of $171,503.11 as of April 30, 2025, approved a 2024–25 Health Services contract under Education Law Section 912 between Ichabod Crane and Rensselaer City School District for $2,289.87, and authorized the 2025–26 Estimated Final Service Request for Questar III BOCES in the amount of $3,409,584.
