The Le Roy Central School District Board approved a series of personnel actions at its Feb. 24, 2026 meeting, including coaching assignments, a probationary teaching assistant appointment, tenure for a school social worker, and substitute teacher appointments.
The Board accepted the resignation of Beth Luckey as modified softball coach and approved her appointment as Junior Varsity Softball Coach. It also approved Erin Cappotelli as Modified Softball Coach and Bill MacKenzie as Volunteer Assistant Flag Football Coach. On the appointment of a volunteer assistant trap team coach, the Board approved Dave Adams by a 4 Yes, 1 No (Mrs. Duthe) vote, with two members absent.
The Board approved a four‑year probationary appointment for Brianne Marucci as a Teaching Assistant (effective Feb. 25, 2026; tenure date Feb. 25, 2030) and granted tenure to Samantha Elliott as a School Social Worker, with commencement of service on tenure recorded as March 21, 2026; certification listed as NYS Permanent in School Social Worker. The meeting also approved Emily Bartz as a substitute teacher for Wolcott Street School effective Feb. 25, 2026.
Separately, the Board approved termination of Mr. Scott Curtis’s long‑term substitute business teacher appointment effective Feb. 27, 2026 and approved his reappointment as a per‑diem substitute at a rate of $150 per day effective March 2, 2026. Most personnel motions passed unanimously with two absences noted (Mrs. Rachael Greene, Mr. William MacKenzie).
