Board approves resignations, multiple staff appointments and $5,000 salary adjustments

The Lansingburgh Central School District Board accepted two resignations, approved several instructional and noninstructional appointments including substitute and probationary teaching assistants, and granted $5,000 National Board Certification adjustments to two staff members; votes were unanimous.
The Lansingburgh Central School District Board of Education on Dec. 16, 2024 accepted resignations from Allison Jaillet, science teacher at KMS (effective Jan. 24, 2025), and Abigail Belter, teaching assistant at Turnpike Elementary School (effective Jan. 6, 2025).
At the same meeting the Board appointed several instructional staff, including Jaydon Morales as an uncertified substitute teacher for the district (term 12/2/24–6/30/25 at $125 daily) and multiple probationary teaching assistants (appointments beginning 12/9/24). The Board also approved long-term substitute and hourly tutor assignments and noninstructional staff appointments, such as Niko Dinardo as a noon aide at RPES (temporary, $17.04/hour, effective 12/2/2024).
Under a separate motion the Board approved a $5,000 salary adjustment for Catherine Stockton and a $5,000 adjustment for Gretchen Murphy in recognition of National Board Certification, both effective Dec. 20, 2024. All personnel-related motions were moved and seconded on the record and carried unanimously (Ayes–8, Nays–0).
