Board approves multiple instructional hires, sets contracts and start dates

"RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board appoints the following instructional staff," the motion reads and was approved unanimously. The personnel slate included long-term substitutes, daily substitute rates for teaching assistants and uncertified substitutes, and specified effective dates for each appointment.
Board members recorded the motions and seconds in the minutes and approved the slate without dissent. These hires will be reflected in payroll and human-resources records with the start dates and salary steps detailed in the Board packet.
