At the meeting the board approved second readings and formal adoption of policies including 1120 (School District Records), 1120-R (Records Regulation), 1500-E.4 (Athletic Field Fee Schedule), 4001 (Concurrent Enrollment Programs), 4773 (Diploma and Credential Options for Students with Disabilities), 5500-R (Student Records Regulation) and 5550 (Student Privacy). Motions to adopt these policies were moved and passed unanimously.
The Board also approved the 2024–2025 School Comprehensive Education Plan (SCEP) for Rensselaer Park Elementary School, again by unanimous vote. The minutes note the RPES SCEP under RESO #16-10/28/2024.
Separately, the Board authorized the Purchasing Agent to dispose of a list of surplus assets, including Motorola 6550 radios assigned to buildings and a broad inventory of smart document cameras, projectors, printers and hundreds of Chromebooks marked 'Deprovisioned' or 'Wiped.' The minutes include asset tag numbers and status for inventory control.
