Board authorizes clerk to cast BOCES ballots and names three nominees for 2026–29 terms

The Stockbridge Valley Central School District Board of Education authorized the District Clerk to submit and certify ballots for members to serve on the Madison-Oneida BOCES Board. The authorization passed on a motion by Carol Marshall, seconded by Jaime Renner, with a 4–0 vote.
Following that authorization, the board resolved to cast its ballots in favor of three named nominees for three BOCES seats and recorded each resolution by individual vote. The board authorized a ballot for Richard Engelbrecht of the Madison Central School District, Craig Brown of the Morrisville-Eaton Central School District, and Patrick Baron of the Sherrill City School District, each for the term July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029. Each resolution carried by a recorded vote of four ayes and zero nays.
The actions were taken as formal resolutions during the special meeting and instruct the District Clerk to submit and certify the ballots on the district's behalf.
