Stockbridge Valley board approves routine finances, policies, intermunicipal agreements and personnel moves

The Stockbridge Valley Central School District Board of Education convened on Feb. 12, 2026, and approved a package of routine fiscal, policy and personnel items.
On a motion by Kristin Guinto, seconded by Joseph Monfiletto, the board adopted the Treasurer's Report for December 2025 and approved warrants for Dec. 1'1, 2025 listing: General Fund $786,670.30; Lunch Fund $15,592.87; Capital Fund $86,576.48; and Special Aid $4,500.00. The same meeting action included adoption of the minutes from Jan. 13, 2026. All motions carried by recorded votes of 5 ayes and 0 nays.
The board also adopted multiple policy updates including Policy 5001 (District-Wide Safety Plans and Building-Level Emergency Response Plans) and Policy 8405 (Field Trips) among others. Administrators presented a slate of consent items that included approvals for student activities, intermunicipal agreements and personnel changes; each was approved unanimously as recorded in the minutes.
The board entered executive session at 7:46 p.m. to discuss personnel matters and reconvened at 8:40 p.m.; subsequent appointments and volunteer approvals followed before the meeting adjourned at 8:42 p.m.
