Board accepts Ag teacher resignation, appoints substitutes

After an executive session on Nov. 12 to discuss personnel matters, the Stockbridge Valley board accepted the resignation of 7–12 Agriculture Teacher Jarrett Burke, effective Dec. 26, 2025. The acceptance followed a motion by Herb Bingel and a second by Daniel Gilbert; the vote was recorded 6–0.
Earlier in the meeting the board appointed Daniel Ruiz as a substitute teacher, Torell Jones as a substitute teacher assistant, and Carman White as a substitute cleaner for the 2025–26 school year. Each appointment was approved by formal motion and recorded as carrying 6–0.
The minutes show the resignation was discussed in executive session before the acceptance in open session; no additional reasons or replacement plans were recorded in the meeting minutes.
