Student Board Representatives Evangeline Pluta and Emma Rubar reported to the board that the recent semi-formal drew "over 400 students attending" and that the district-wide phone ban is "going well." They outlined upcoming Homecoming events (this Friday), a college fair during first and second blocks, and student-government-run pep-rally activities starting at 4:00 p.m.
Pluta and Rubar asked whether staff could provide traffic direction after the game and monitor restrooms. Superintendent Thomas J. Colabufo responded that staff who work events would be asked to monitor bathrooms and traffic, and he said he would ensure the concerns were raised with event staff. Board members offered brief congratulatory remarks to the student representatives.
