Board approves contract extension with Caseworthy for IDD provider network system

The Sedgwick County Board of Bids and Contracts approved a change order extending the contract with Caseworthy Incorporated to finish outstanding build and integration tasks for the provider network management system used by the Department of Aging and Disabilities.

"This contract extension will not result in any additional cost and the original licensing fees will remain in effect," said Joe Thomas, who presented the item on behalf of the department. Thomas told the board the extension is needed to complete the Caseworthy build per signed requirements, work through any change requests, enable integration with the department’s MediSched electronic health record, and complete testing before go‑live.

Thomas said the department oversees services for approximately 2,700 individuals in Sedgwick County who are eligible for the intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) system and manages a network of 41 affiliated service providers. The board moved to accept the extension and approved the motion by roll call.

The motion extends the contract period through Feb. 1, 2026; the presenting official said allocated contract hours and licensing rates will remain unchanged. No additional funding was requested as part of the change order.
