Board approves personnel actions and recognizes three new classroom hires

Dr. Cyniak said the district had several retirements this year and described the hiring process for replacements: more than 500 resumes, screening committees, demonstration lessons, interviews and writing samples.
She introduced the three new hires and asked them to stand for recognition: Antonio Baglibo, Michaela Gallo and Caroline Manelli. "Welcome to all of you, and congratulations," she said, and encouraged the new staff to rest up before beginning the school year.
The board later welcomed the new employees again in closing remarks and extended holiday well wishes to the community.
