Board accepts final tax warrant; reports $14.42 million collected to date

At the Jan. 27 meeting the board accepted the Final Tax Warrant for the 2024-2025 collection period following a presentation of collection figures by the Tax Collector.
The minutes reproduce the Final Tax Collection table submitted by Jane Luskin: "Total Taxes Collected to Date $14,424,416.87," Total Penalties and Fees Collected $9,856.06, and Total Collection $14,434,272.28. The minutes further list uncollected taxes by town and a total uncollected amount of $1,045,627.07. The board approved acceptance of the final warrant by unanimous vote.
The minutes also note adjustments to the warrant, STAR savings totals and the total tax levy approved in August 2023. The action was recorded as RESO #15-01/27/2025 (Accept Final Tax Warrant).
