Board adopts Title IX procedure, records and school safety policies

The Lansingburgh Central School District Board of Education adopted three district policies at its Jan. 27 meeting following second readings.
Trustees approved Policy 0120 (Formal Title IX Complaint Procedure), Policy 1120 (School District Records) and Policy 8130 (School Safety Plans and Teams). The motion to approve the second reading and adopt the policies was made by Mr. Zakrzewski and seconded by Mr. Shover; the minutes record the vote as Ayes 8, Nays 0.
In the same sequence of business, the board authorized the Purchasing Agent to dispose or transfer a number of surplus items, including several Motorola 6550 radios and a Toro 4110 Grandmaster (tag and item numbers specified in the minutes). Those disposal/transfer motions also passed unanimously.
