Superintendent Merritt Holly updated the Board on multiple facilities items: Jr./Sr. High bathroom renovations are underway with tile installed and subcontractor repairs in progress pending final walkthroughs; multipurpose field work has encountered weather delays and the district is awaiting a wetland determination from NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. The district interviewed six architectural/engineering firms for the five‑year building condition survey and will contract Young & Wright Architects for survey work while retaining Clark Patterson for capital projects.
Mr. Holly also reported the high school PA system and clocks are problematic and that the district intends to move to a digital clock/PA system rather than temporary repairs. The minutes note the district will obtain additional warranties on work and tiles and continue coordination with contractors.
