"It's an addition to what we've had," the superintendent said of the ODE award and explained the funds will buy additional slots for early literacy programming. Board members moved and seconded the acceptance; the motion carried on a voice vote.
The superintendent also flagged that the district continues to pursue other funding and will report back on budget details if allocations change. No roll-call tallies were recorded; the board used standard voice 'aye' voting for consent items.
