Superintendent Andy reviewed the Healthy and Safe Schools Act annual statement and told directors the district is in the middle of lead testing, noting the district has about 200 water fixtures to test and is roughly a third of the way through the cycle. He said asbestos re‑inspections will occur and radon testing is scheduled for November 2026.
Andy explained that testing has included classroom sinks, drinking fountains and other fixtures, and that replacements of angle stops and fixtures are underway where tests show elevated lead readings. The board accepted the annual statement on a motion and voice vote.
