The Seaside SD 10 School Board voted to accept the construction-manager/general-contractor (CMGC) finding-of-facts document and proceed with the CMGC procurement for summer 2025 capital projects. Board Chair opened the hearing and, finding no public comments, closed the hearing and the board approved the motion to move forward.
Staff said the district will issue the RFP on Thursday, with proposals due April 10 at 2:00 p.m., followed by a shortlist and recommendation back to the board for approval by the end of April. “Proposals will be due April 10 at 2PM and with a shortlist, right after that,” staff said during the meeting. The schedule was presented as the district’s planned timeline to keep the projects on track for summer work.
The board’s action was a procedural acceptance of the procurement method and the finding-of-facts document required to begin competitive procurement; no changes to scope or budget were recorded during the public hearing. Staff indicated design review and documents will be attached to the RFP as they go out.
