After moving into executive session under Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(c), the Darlington board returned to open session and approved several personnel actions. The board voted to hire Morgan Lobdell as a high school assistant cross country coach (motion by Stauffacher, seconded by Riechers) and to hire Jessica McGrath as a special education teacher (motion by Gratz, seconded by Riechers). The board also approved volunteer coaches across sports: HS volleyball (Abby Haas and Ashley McCarville); HS cross country (Richard Cruz); HS football (Jim Wolf, Jon Bryson, Hunter Johnson, Will Schwartz, Max McGuire, Barrett Vieth and Brett Knautz); and MS cross country (Nick McElrath). The food service support item was tabled.
