The Flambeau School Board approved the 2026–2027 High School Course Offering Handbook at the Dec. 17 meeting but specifically excluded the pass/fail physical-education grading option pending additional rationale. Lana Nelson moved to approve the handbook excluding the PE pass/fail option; Jennifer Heath seconded the motion and it passed unanimously, 7–0.
Board members asked for the reasoning behind maintaining a pass/fail option in physical education and requested that staff return with the rationale for the board’s review before any change is made to the handbook language.
