Flambeau accepts $4,770.74 special-education grant; local groups donate winter gear and snacks

Betsy Miler, 3YK–6 Principal and SPED Director, told the board the district received a special-education grant totaling $4,770.74 from the 2025 Wisconsin Indicator 14 Post School Outcome Survey. Miler also reported community donations: Jump River Lions contributed $1,000 for cold-weather clothing, and the Rusk County Beef and Dairy Promoters donated beef and cheese sticks to support the Backpack Meal Program.
Miler said the Raising Highly Capable Kids program served about six families in its recent session and that Child Development days will be moved to March 13, 2026. The board accepted the Treasurer’s Report and had no objections to accepting the grant and documented donations.
