Central Cambria approves Extended School Year staffing and pay caps

The Personnel Committee recommended and the board approved Extended School Year (ESY) assignments for district teachers under the CCSD/CCEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Teachers approved for ESY at $28.50 per hour include Ashley Miller (not to exceed 57.5 hours), Nicole Stephan (not to exceed 42.5 hours), Diane Lucas (not to exceed 15 hours), LaTrace Quaglia (not to exceed 28 hours) and Jaylee Sikora (not to exceed 12 hours).
The board also approved ESY assignments for paraprofessionals Marisa Locher and Amy Kim at their current hourly rates, each not to exceed 31.5 hours. The motions were moved by Dr. Michele Rice and seconded; all board members present voted YES.
