Student Evelyn Jorinscay told the board she needs improved access while non-weight bearing after a broken foot and asked that two additional ramps be installed around the building. Dr. Thomas A. Woods recommended she contact the building principal and maintenance department to explore implementation; Chuck Gironda said an immediate solution could be found but formal plans should wait for warmer weather. "She currently is non weight bearing due to a broken foot," the minutes state.
Separately, the Property & Building Committee approved a quote from Douglas Equipment (Bluefield, WV) for two reach-in heated cabinets for the cafeteria at a cost of $11,918.12, to be paid from the Cafeteria Fund. The motion passed unanimously and will be processed through the cafeteria procurement and accounting procedures.
