Board Adopts Act 1 Resolution; Approves Contract for Delinquent Tax Collection

The Finance Committee moved multiple consent agenda items and the board approved them by common consent. The committee moved for adoption of a resolution that "the Central Cambria SD will not raise the rate of any tax for the 2026-27 fiscal year by more than the district's Act 1 Adjusted Index of 4.6%." The board also approved directing the Cambria County Tax Claim Bureau not to collect delinquent real estate taxes on the district's behalf and authorized solicitor/collection fees to be added to delinquent accounts.
