Board approves revised curriculum documents for 202627 2027 school year, education committee says

Michelle, speaking for the Education Committee, said the committee met on Aug. 10 and recommended adoption of revised curriculum documents for English language arts, science and mathematics effective for the 202627 2027 school year, aligned to the New Jersey student learning standards.
"We resolved by the Neptune City Board of Education that the following revised curriculum documents are hereby approved and adopted for implementation in accordance with the New Jersey student learning standards and all applicable New Jersey Department of Education requirements effective for the 2026, 2027 school year," Michelle said. The superintendent was authorized to implement the curricula and ensure their use.
The board moved and seconded the motion and members voted in favor during the meeting; the action was presented as a routine implementation of state-aligned curriculum updates.
