Board approves routine business; members highlight community events and streaming plans for Thanksgiving game

The Bristol Borough School District board approved routine monthly business, including the minutes of its Oct. 17 meeting, the list of bills for November and the treasurer's report for October by voice vote. The board also scheduled its reorganization meeting for Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at 7 p.m.
Board members used the round-robin portion of the meeting to thank borough leadership and staff for help securing the recently announced grants, to note a newly completed press box and to confirm plans to stream the annual Thanksgiving game for viewers who cannot attend. "The track is gonna be a beautiful new track, and we definitely need it," one board member said. Another member said, "we'll be streaming that game" and noted the high-school digital-marketing team will share viewing details.
The president also described speaking to a scouts group with over 60 participants and suggested inviting the group back to perform a future flag ceremony. The meeting adjourned after a final motion to end the meeting.
