The board also approved hiring paraprofessionals (PCAs) at $16.34 per hour with no benefits under the negotiated agreement for 2024–25 (naming Judy Trott at the high school), and approved district daily substitute teachers at $150 per day (naming Sammy Best and Christina Jones), pending clearances. The motions were presented as routine personnel items and were approved by voice vote.
