The district superintendent told the board that two major facilities projects are nearing the end of their planning stages and described ongoing coordination with project managers, engineers and SiteLogic.
"Currently, the Bristol Borough School District has 2 major projects towards the end of their planning stage," the superintendent said, noting one project is replacing boilers at Bristol High School and the other concerns a decades-old hot-water heater and holding tank that serves kitchen and locker-room facilities. He said project managers, engineers and representatives from SiteLogic are helping oversee progress.
The superintendent also described a planned vestibule to improve visitor safety and access to the building; meetings among project managers, tradespeople and administration continue as the district scopes work and prepares for construction. The board did not vote on contracts at the meeting; staff said planning and selection of contractors remains to be finalized.
