Superintendent Brian Rentsch and Treasurer Kim Beckley told the Claymont City Board of Education on Jan. 12 that several recent state bills affecting property taxes had been signed by Governor DeWine and are under district review. "Mr. Rentsch and Mrs. Beckley gave an update on the Property Tax Reform Bills signed by Governor DeWine. (HB124, HB129, HB186, HB309 and HB335)," the minutes recorded.
The presentation was listed as part of administrators' written updates. Board members did not take formal action on the bills; the district will analyze how the measures affect local levy revenue and bring follow‑up recommendations if budget or levy adjustments are required.
