The Claymont City School District Board of Education unanimously approved a three-year contract for Kim Beckley to serve as Treasurer/CFO effective Aug. 1, 2026.
During a special meeting Feb. 26, the board moved and seconded Board Item 26-025 A โ "APPROVE the three-year contract for Kim Beckley, Treasurer/CFO effective August 1, 2026, as presented." Mrs. Host made the motion and Ms. Campbell seconded; on roll call Mrs. Host, Ms. Campbell, Mrs. Grandison, Mr. Peters and Mrs. Wolf voted yes and the motion carried.
The action followed an executive session the board held earlier in the meeting "for discussions on employment," which the minutes record as beginning at 6:01 p.m. and ending at 7:23 p.m. The minutes list Superintendent Brian Rentsch and Treasurer Kim Beckley as personnel present for the session.
The contract term and effective date were recorded in the motion text; the minutes do not specify salary, benefits, or other contract provisions.
