At its May 14 meeting the Jamestown Area School Board approved routine finance and operations items: appointment of First National Bank of PA as district depository for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 (with FDIC coverage per School Code Section 623); engagement of McGill, Power, Bell and Associates LLP to perform the 2025–2026 local audit; and renewal of dental insurance rates with CoreSource — Oasis Trust (Class I & II Individual $23.03; Family $48.73; Class III & IV Individual $51.24; Family $110.44).
Separately, the board authorized the purchase of a 2025 Chevrolet Brightdrop van from Diehl Chevrolet of Grove City using capital funds (COSTARS dealer), to replace a vehicle used for transportation and moving food and equipment between buildings; the cost was authorized at not to exceed $38,000. The purchase was approved by unanimous voice vote.
