Mayor announces back-to-school bash, gazebo nights and other community events

"This Thursday is the back to school bash at the Expo Center sponsored by Merrill Area Public Schools," the mayor said. He also urged caution: "...watch for the children and the extra traffic in the school areas." The mayor listed other events including gazebo nights at Normal Park, the Labor Day parade at 10 a.m., the Lions Club car show and a pinup contest hosted by the VFW at the fairgrounds, and reminded residents about the city decorating contest and upcoming budget meeting schedules.
