The Stockbridge Valley Central School District Board of Education voted on a suite of administrative authorizations at its July 7 reorganizational meeting. The board authorized the superintendent or designated representative to sign and submit applications for federal funds or special grants and to preapprove out-of-district travel and conference attendance for budgeted items. The board also authorized the superintendent to certify payrolls and to make intra-fund budgetary transfers for the 2026–27 school year; each motion was recorded 5 ayes, 0 nays.
The minutes additionally establish petty cash funds (Superintendent’s Office $100; Extra-Curricular Activities $100; School Lunch $25), designate official depositories (JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A. Division, Oneida; NBT Bank; Community Bank; MBIA) and name the Oneida Daily Dispatch and Syracuse Post Standard as official newspapers. These financial and administrative delegations were moved and seconded with unanimous recorded approval.
