Educators used the March 18 meeting to celebrate recent student achievements in arts and athletics. Mr. James Wood reported that students performed at the All‑County Music Festival on March 7 and that the Middle School Drama Club previewed the musical 'Moana' for elementary students; the full performances are scheduled Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. (sensory friendly) and 4 p.m.
Mr. Wood and Mr. Howey also updated the board on extracurricular competitions: Math‑a‑lon teams placed (5th grade 3rd; 6th grade 1st), the Scholarship Challenge team finished 4th at its WATS/WAVR tournament, and Gavin Albrecht finished in the top ten at the indoor track state championship in pole vault. Mr. Wood noted bowler Kelsey Helmich finished 44th in the state—highlighting individual student successes across programs.
