Superintendent Joshua Roe updated the board on capital projects March 18, reporting that the district will carry out the 2025/26 Capital Outlay ceiling replacement over spring break and that Phase I of the 2025 Capital Improvement Project—focused on a new bus garage and maintenance building—has been submitted to the State for approval.
Roe said an initial design meeting for Phase II went well and that Phase II is planned to begin in summer 2027; he also noted that the district’s first run of budget expenditures has been prepared and that Samaritan Fund presentations were held across the district on March 10. There was no board vote tied to the briefing; next steps include state approvals and future design work.
