The board approved several financial protections and policy items during its reorganizational meeting, including bonds and benefit designations relevant to district finance operations.
Specifically, the board approved bonds with Utica National Insurance Co. covering the District Treasurer ($1,400,000), Deputy Treasurer ($1,000,000), District Tax Collector ($1,000,000) and Central Treasurer ($1,000,000).
