Board authorizes administrative spending and cash-flow powers for 2026–2027
Summary

During the reorganizational session, the board authorized specific administrative powers to facilitate operations and cash flow for the coming year.
The board authorized Jennifer Dunn to approve attendance at conferences, building use requests, field trips and to submit applications for federally or specially aided programs; the authorization also permits Dunn to approve pre-payments up to $75,000 and budgetary transfers up to $5,000, and to accept and use federal, state and special funds for program development. The minutes state: "Jennifer Dunn to approve attendance at conferences, conventions, workshops, approve field trips, etc...approve pre-payments up to $75,000, approve budgetary transfers up to $5,000.00."
The board also authorized Jessica Pashley, as District Treasurer, to loan from the General Fund to the Cafeteria, Special, Federal Funds, Trust and Agency only as necessary to pay current payrolls and warrants until revenues are received, and to sign checks for disbursements for the 2026–2027 school year. The minutes additionally authorize Pashley to make certain advance payments for utility and routine charges in accordance with Education Law provisions. These delegations are intended to maintain continuity of district operations between board meetings.
