Administrators Jennifer Dunn (Superintendent) and John Swick presented an overview of Guidance Department career planning at the Jan. 8 board meeting. The presentation included review of a student survey about schedule, electives and supports and a reminder that elective course options for next year have been reviewed and promoted to students.
Dunn outlined related planning steps: an updated bell schedule and an informational session on Jan. 26, 2026; an updated elementary enrichment schedule for the second semester; and upcoming administrative training on the New York State Portrait of a Graduate, which the district plans to incorporate into its strategic plan by 2028.
