The Town of Webb Board of Education approved several personnel actions during its Jan. 8 meeting. The board voted 5–0 to appoint Jocelyn Van Velsor to a probationary Special Education position (commencing 12/20/2025; tentative expiration 12/19/2029; step 5BA compensation $56,478) and to appoint Briana Brownsell in Spanish 7–12 (commencement 8/31/2023; tentative expiration 8/30/2027; step 4M+6 compensation $57,190). Both approvals were recorded as unanimous: Vote: Yes-5 No-0.
Separately, the board accepted the resignation of Adam Gager, Probationary Cleaner, effective Dec. 12, 2025, approved Paige Crego as a long-term substitute music teacher effective Jan. 2, 2026 at $160/day, and approved a letter of intent to retire submitted by Kristie Lawrence to take effect at the end of the 2025–2026 school year. All personnel items were approved without recorded opposition.
