The Town of Webb Union Free School District Board of Education voted on March 12 to adopt the district’s 2026–27 budget in the amount of $13,021,025. The measure passed unanimously, 4–0, after the superintendent presented Draft Budget #2 that the board had reviewed in advance.
Superintendent Jennifer Dunn presented the draft as “inclusive of revenues, reserves, and fund balance,” and trustees discussed how the draft aligns with staffing and operational needs for the coming year. The board set election inspectors for the May 19 budget vote earlier in the meeting and then moved to formal adoption of the budget during the regular agenda. The board approved the budget on a motion by Marissa Van Valkenburg, seconded by Jen Fenton; the recorded vote was Yes‑4 No‑0.
The board also approved routine warrant and claims schedules during the same meeting, including Fund A ($495,726.73), Fund C ($13,373.24), and Fund H1 ($24,705.75) among others, as part of its fiscal consent items. The district will present the budget to voters as required ahead of the May 19 Budget Vote.
