Paul (board member) thanked Kelly Jorgensen for her work on budget presentations and told the board the business office's priorities will shift now that the budget vote is complete. "With the budget completed, business office is now gonna be focusing on, year end audit, health care audits, and, start looking at the capital projects, the the capital outlay exemption and the 2 capital projects that, the facilities committee has been discussing," Paul said.
Board members did not provide detailed dollar figures or timelines in this meeting; they said the facilities committee has been discussing two capital projects and that staff will bring more precise project plans and budget figures to future meetings. The board also thanked staff who helped run the budget vote and noted the business office's increased workload during the transition to post-vote tasks.
