Superintendent reports smooth reopening, homecoming dates and a bus purchase intent

Superintendent B. Dorritie told the board that the district's reopening has gone well and highlighted strong attendance at the Elementary Open House; the Secondary Open House was scheduled for Sept. 18. He said the Homecoming parade will take place Sept. 26, with games and a dance the following day.
Dorritie noted that ONC BOCES and DCMO BOCES, working with the Rural Education Collaborative, planned a joint Superintendent's Conference Day on Oct. 10 at SUNY Oneonta. In operational updates, Supervisor of Transportation J. Kessler reported sports runs have been covered to date and said a letter of intent was sent to purchase a new bus.
